Do you have a project, play, theme, issue or subject you want to present, explore or teach a group about? or do you require more skills in an area of drama/ acting?  Do you need experience or ways of approaching something drama related such as assertiveness, creative writing, presentation skills, role play, directing skills or movement? I can work with you and your group to design and deliver a workshop package to suit your needs.

I have designed and delivered inspiring and engaging workshops and longer term project packages for all ages and ranges of group including:
Youth theatre groups in Rotherham and Sheffield including 'Open Minds Theatre Company'
Young people not in education or training( Connextions, The Morthying Centre)
Children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (Springwell community)
Special and complex needs groups (Kelford, Addison, Milton)
Primary and secondary schools as part of being a lead practitioner on the Rotherham Shakespeare festival: included Dinnington high school, Aston Academy, Wingfield academy, Birley community college, Brinsworth manor, Howarth and White hill primary, Dalton- Listerdale, Canklow, Sitwell, Swinton primary and many more. 
Primary and secondary schools under the 'Pioneer- The Rotherham Musical' project for Rotherham Music service. (See writing/ composing)
Adults who have been homeless and use Shelter's 'Crisis' services: I led drama workshops for the University of Sheffield and Crisis.

Other workshops have included issue based topics such as drugs, alcohol, mental health and I have often designed and led workshops related to shows I have toured for example: Themes of silence, conspiracy and injustice with a Gulf war veterans  group linked to 'Point Blank's' tour of 'Dead Causes.' 
Similarly I deliver craft/ skill based workshops including: 'Devising' workshops, Acting with Mask, Physical theatre, singing, Site Specific and voice work, basic acting techniques, building a character, introduction to Shakespeare workshops, ensemble working and method techniques.


As a qualified post-16 teacher I have been a lecturer for BTEC/UAL, A'levels for over 10 years part time and am currently the Programme Leader and Lead lecturer on the 'Theatre, Acting and Performance' BA (Hons) Degree at Rotherham College for the University of Hull where I am an associate lecturer. I have have taught this degree  and the Sheffield Hallam foundation Degree for over 7 years. I have also taught for the Worker's Educational Association and have previously been a youth worker.
