Recent directing work includes:
Pioneer: The Rotherham Musical (March 2017) - I wrote and directed this large scale Musical about the history of Rotherham with a main cast of 6 adults and a cast of over 150 children, this was performed at Magna. (Rotherham Music Service and Youth Music)
Local Hero (2016)- devised verbatim piece about a left wing under cover investigative journalist with songs composed by me at University of Sheffield. (Masters course)
Antigone (Sophocles)- adapted by Karen Mulcahy and Antony Steele. (2015) The Lantern Theatre, Sheffield. Remnants Revolt Productions.

Opus Hatch: He wants to Friend you. (Newly written script by Karen Mulcahey and T. Rafiq.) Toured Barnsley Civic, Square Chapel arts centre, Helmsley Arts centre, Rotherham college, the Old Market Galleries, Montgomery Hall, Sheffield Library theatre. Accompanied by seminars with sociology and social policy students at the University of Sheffield led by Karen Mulcahey and reader in social policy, Dave Phillips. (2008) On the Road Again productions in partnership with Open Minds Theatre Company and Plum Pie Media.
